Truth For You

I see a bolt of lightning bursting forth

I hear God speak to each of you worth

Just as God knows every grain of sand

He knows you when no one understands

He’s the God of hope and salvation

He’s the source of life for every nation

He never authors condemnation

He’s a loving God and very patient

When you don’t know what to do, he’s always near. Give him all your worries and fears.

Call to him he’ll always hear

He always has a listening ear

He may not respond the way you desire but keep seeking him, he never grows tired

When it’s hard to rest and sleep at night

When during the day you’re tired of the fight

Ask him to give you insight

To illuminate your eyes with his sight

He loves you, let this truth sink in

Ask him to come, to dwell within

Ask him to show you how to forgive

It will liberate you, life it will give

You’re an overcomer, he wants you to live

Life abundant, always with him!

It’s been really hard lately. I decided to write. I hope it helps someone else.

My heart is heavy, I feel the weight
of all the years I’ve been in wait.
I thought I had patience but tested again.
I sit here wondering if and when.
I’m not trying to toil with questions unanswered
Many people are tormented with cancers
My burdens are heavy but light to the Lord
He never tires, he’s never bored
I come to him often with a heart that is torn
I ask him to mend it for I am worn
I don’t understand why pain won’t leave
I want to feel better, Lord I am grieved
I want to love, to serve and encourage
Right now Lord I am discouraged
I know I am loved, I know you are my hope
It’s just been hard to live and cope
You are my provider, my help in trouble
You pursue and continue to remove all the rubble
Lord I’m doing my best, I know you see
Thank you for choosing to love me
Help me to rest, be my strength day and night
Lord I will stand, but I need you to fight
You defeated the grave, the enemy won’t win
Jesus your blood was shed for our sins
Lord I pray for freedom and to actually feel
Like my heart, mind and body are actually healed.

Nations Worship United

Lord we come to you tonight united as one. We get to worship you and have fun. Brothers and sisters from different nations. United together because of salvation. Holy Spirit fall fresh on us. Show us what it means to really trust. We surrender our lives, we give you everything. It’s an honor to worship you, our Father, our King. Our voices we raise as we sing you praise. Lord we partner with you all of our days. Without your presence we will not go, for it’s you oh God we need to know. Intimacy with you in the secret place, sets our hearts on fire, lights up our face. Thank you oh God for your love and grace. You bring clarity God, you remove all haze. You bring direction and purpose and set us ablaze. We marvel at you Lord, you totally amaze. We worship you Father, we give you our hearts. We say yes to you God, we’ll do our part!

Journey

What a journey life’s been so far. I’ve traveled by bus, train, plane and car. I’ve enjoyed oceans, mountains, deserts and tropics. I’ve had many conversations on different topics. I’ve been a student and a teacher. I’ve heard many messages from preachers. I survived death’s grip on different occasions. I’ve had a few family vacations. I’ve overcome hardship many a time. I know what’s it’s like to continue to grind. When will my breakthrough come? I’ve asked this question, I’ve even been numb. There’s many times I’ve tried to cope, when I’m struggling to remind myself there’s hope. Don’t give up, the journey’s just begun. God’s with you in the trials but also the fun. You matter to God, your purpose, his plan. He’ll guide you oh child, just hold his hand. When you’re afraid it’s ok to grip. He won’t let go, he’s with you every trip. God watches over you when your awake. He knows you’re committed no matter the stakes. He’s with in the wee hours of the night. Live each day as one of God’s lights! You’re a child of God, it’s who you are. Your Father is near he is not far. He’s watching over you every day. Jesus is the truth, the only Way!

Beliefs and Behaviors

Beliefs and behaviors carve a place to see, Holy Spirit we yield to thee. Lord we welcome all that you want to do. We want to grow in intimacy, deeper with you! Take us to places and give us revelation, thank dear Jesus for salvation! We want to be witnesses and be your hands and feet, in houses, in public and on the streets. Tune our ears and open our eyes, remove any barriers and tear down lies. May our hearts and minds be united as one, let us see through the eyes of the Son!
